Right now the custom field section on a contact record displays fields in a fixed order that can't be changed, and the section's placement on the record is also fixed.

For organizations that rely heavily on custom fields, this means scrolling past fields we rarely use to reach the ones we check on every record. We use DonorDock to manage a business membership program, and our most-referenced custom fields (membership tier, chapter, engagement archetype) are buried below fields we almost never touch.

Request: the ability to drag-and-drop or otherwise set the display order of custom fields on the contact record, and ideally to control where the custom field section sits relative to the other sections on the record.

This would meaningfully cut the time spent on day-to-day record review for teams whose core data lives in custom fields rather than the standard donor fields.
