DonorDock could create or integrate with OCI (Optical Character Intelligence) capabilities to allow staff and volunteers to scan physical business cards using a mobile device or web camera and automatically create or update Individual and Organization records in DonorDock. The solution would extract key fields such as name, title, organization, email, phone number, and address, apply duplicate detection, and prompt users to confirm or merge records before saving. This functionality would significantly reduce manual data entry, improve data accuracy, and accelerate prospect capture during events, meetings, and community outreach.
